Audition for a show
Every September, our amazing project sponsors present their show ideas, which require full teams. That’s where you come in—come audition with ARTUS!
| Become an actor
If you’d like to act in one of the season’s shows, you absolutely can! Depending on the project, some prior theater experience may be required, but sometimes all you need is a healthy amount of commitment and motivation.
| Help bring a show to life
Alternatively, we welcome you to get involved if you have skills in set design, costumes, scenery, props, make-up, stage management, graphic design, video production, music, singing, or dancing. We always have plenty of open spots on our artistic and technical teams!
| Help direct a show
As a production assistant, you’ll assist the director in their work and in the process get some experience producing a show, organizing a project, and managing a team—an especially enriching experience, especially if you’d like to propose your own project in the future.
If one of these tasks interests you, you can apply via the registration form you’ll receive at the back-to-school meeting that takes places every September. To find out this year’s date, follow our socials or check the “actualités” tab (which is unfortunately not translated into English). We’ll then be in touch with you to set a date for you to audition with ARTUS in Strasbourg. And don’t worry, you’re welcome to apply for multiple shows.
If you couldn’t make it to the back-to-school meeting, first check and see if our contact form is still available online on the “actualités” tab. If you’ve missed the boat, we’re really sorry, but please come back and see us next year!
| A word to non-French speakers :
One last thing! Non-Francophones can audition for an ARTUS show too—in fact, we highly encourage you to audition! If theater is your passion, performing it in a foreign language is good practice!
If you’re unclear about something, have a concern, or would like to share any message at all, please contact us.
