Performance venues
| Le Théâtre du Cube Noir
For several years following the closure of the university’s auditorium, ARTUS’s only regular performance space was the Théâtre du Cube Noir, managed by the Trois.14 collective. The organization continues to perform here every year.
| La Pokop
The university and CROUS’s new auditorium! Since its grand opening in February 2022, La Pokop has allowed ARTUS to have a new performance space and benefit from its staff’s professional know-how.
Our Supporters
What else could you expect from the Strasbourg University Theater Organization? The university is a longtime supporter of ARTUS, both financially and functionally.
Our partner, the Service Universitaire de l’Action Culturelle (“University Cultural Action Service”), is located on the Esplanade campus and manages the rehearsal room in the Patio building where we’ve recently begun rehearsing.
Crous de Strasbourg supports cultural projects from students and is one of our most important supporters, as much financially as materially.
A group of several amateur theater troupes (including us). The collective organizes the Théâtralis festival every other year and manages the Théâtre du Cube Noir.
ARTUS and AFGES, the student federation of Alsace, have been linked since the latter’s creation, since its president at the time was part of TUS’s steering committee. ARTUS continues to remain part of the federation, which offers us material and functional support.
The Eurométropole of Strasbourg supports amateur artistic activities, and ARTUS is one of several groups benefiting from its financial support (and material support, from time to time).
This organization offers acting workshops, just like ARTUS. Both orgs seek to create a link between their participants and professionals.
